QUALITY, ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY Vercurago, July 31 2009 Lubrimetal SpA decided to integrate the Quality System according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 with the "System Management Environment and Safety" according to UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007. This is due to the company development strategy based on the principles of Total Quality and designed to maintain the leadership position achieved in its market area. Lubrimetal top management, for a continuous improvement, also established the following general principles: Identifying customer’s requirements to put them into precise technical requirements and specific trade obligations (from Customer Satisfaction to processes management) Providing products complying with above mentioned requirements Promoting actions for a continuous improving of processes and products, by involving in this project the suppliers too. This just to assure a full customer satisfaction, cost optimisation, reduction of environmental impact and performance in security Applying existing laws, requirements of planning, implementations, monitoring, auditing, reviewing and drafting a program to achieve the goals and targets Training and informing their employees in order to alert them about the environmental issues, health care, safety and prevention treatments Optimising use of energy resources Preventing adverse events to the environment and the safety of workers Promoting improvement actions to maximise the performance management system. This at every level of the organization. Lubrimetal top management has already taken the appropriate actions to ensure that the Policy for Quality, Environment and OHSAS, as above described, is understood and implemented by all the staff during its activities. Lubrimetal top management is going to carry out audit to monitor and to assure the maintenance of the system QAS and the regular progress of planned improvement actions.
